Pulp
Suzano S.A. is the world's largest producer of market pulp and one of the leading global producers of eucalyptus-based paper and renewable fiber materials. Founded in Brazil in 1924, the company operates a highly integrated business model covering eucalyptus forestry, pulp production, printing and writing papers, paperboard, specialty papers and fiber-based packaging materials. Suzano has approximately 13.4 million tonnes per year of market pulp capacity and operates some of the world's largest eucalyptus pulp facilities, including the 2.55-million-tonne Ribas do Rio Pardo mill, the world's largest single-line pulp production facility. The company is expanding strongly in fiber-based packaging through specialty solutions including Bluecup paperboard, Greenpack flexible packaging papers, Greenbag bag papers and Loop straw papers. Its acquisition of the Pine Bluff and Waynesville mills in the United States added approximately 420,000 tonnes of integrated paperboard capacity and established Suzano as a significant North American supplier of liquid packaging board and foodservice paperboard.
