Zecher expands its Scandinavian anilox footprint through CoPriTech
The German manufacturer appoints CoPriTech to manage its anilox roller sales and technical support across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.
The German anilox roller manufacturer Zecher has restructured its distribution network in Northern Europe by appointing CoPriTech as its exclusive sales and service partner for the Scandinavian market. This agreement transfers the direct management of customers in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway to the team led by Ronni Nielsen, marking a strategic shift in how the Paderborn-based company handles its regional technical support.
For the printing and packaging industries, the performance of anilox rolls and sleeves dictates the baseline of process reliability. Any deviation in ink transfer directly impacts production uptime and print quality. By embedding CoPriTech as the local point of contact, Zecher aims to shorten response times and provide on-site troubleshooting for converters operating in a highly demanding regional market.
Strengthening the technical supply chain
The Scandinavian packaging sector requires stringent quality controls and rapid technical interventions. CoPriTech will now be responsible for both expanding Zecher's market share and maintaining existing customer relationships across the three nations. The partnership covers the full portfolio of Zecher's surface finishing and engraving technologies, which are critical for flexographic and offset printing operations.
- Target markets: Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.
- Core focus: Sales and on-site technical support for anilox rollers and sleeves.
- Strategic goal: Enhancing process reliability and direct access to manufacturing expertise for local converters.
Producing approximately 12,000 anilox rollers annually, Zecher has historically relied on a mix of direct sales and regional partnerships to manage its global footprint. This latest alignment with CoPriTech follows a broader industry trend where equipment manufacturers are decentralizing their service networks to mitigate supply chain friction and offer faster, localized technical support to packaging converters.
