Rayonier Advanced Materials (RYAM)

Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc., operating as RYAM, manufactures high-purity cellulose and wood-based biomaterials. Its cellulose specialties include acetate, ethers and other specialty grades, alongside viscose-grade cellulose and absorbent fluff pulp. These are raw materials for downstream manufacturers, not finished pharmaceuticals, textiles or consumer goods. RYAM operates cellulose facilities in Fernandina Beach and Jesup in the United States and Tartas in France. Its biomaterials activities include ARBO lignosulfonates, cellulosic bioethanol and renewable energy. RYAM BioNova France is the group’s only current lignosulfonate producer. As reported on November 3, 2026, paperboard and high-yield pulp production at Témiscaming, Canada, has been economically idled since October 3, 2026. These operations are not presented as active production. The group continues to evaluate options for the site.
