Fibtray Solutions, S.L. is a Spanish food-packaging technology company based in Paterna, Valencia. Its Fibtray® range uses laminated paperboard to develop heat-sealable trays for modified-atmosphere packaging and other food-packaging applications. The company develops and commercialises packaging technology and offers customised development and technology sublicensing. Its published portfolio comprises Pack single-compartment trays, BiPack double-compartment trays, FlatPack low-profile trays, Bowl prepared-meal containers and the Taylormade custom-development service. Applications include meat, fish, charcuterie, salads, prepared meals and takeaway. AINIA identifies Fibtray Solutions as a company backed by AINIA and REDIT Ventures and confirms a manufacturing agreement with Grupo La Plana announced on 16 April 2026. AINIA is the developer and patent holder of the technology described in that agreement. The registered office is not presented as a tray-manufacturing plant. Laminated paperboard reduces plastic use but is not the same as entirely plastic-free packaging; performance and recyclability depend on the specific tray, barrier, lid and collection system.
