Daio Paper Corporation is one of Japan's leading integrated pulp, paper, paperboard and fibre-based products manufacturers. Founded in 1943, the company operates from its headquarters in Tokyo and Shikokuchuo, Ehime Prefecture, with the Mishima Mill serving as the Group's principal integrated production complex. Daio Paper manufactures pulp, printing and publication papers, communication papers, wrapping papers, functional papers, containerboard, corrugated packaging and household tissue products. Its core Mishima Mill has an annual paper and paperboard production volume of approximately 2.1 million tonnes, while the Daio Group produces around 3 million tonnes of paper and paperboard annually. Pulp: hardwood, softwood, mechanical and deinked / recovered-paper pulp. Paper: newsprint, publication and printing papers, communication paper, PPC / copy paper, wrapping paper, functional and specialty papers. Paperboard & corrugated: containerboard (kraftliner, corrugating grades), corrugated sheets, corrugated cases and paper containers. Tissue & H&PC: facial tissue, toilet tissue and kitchen paper (Elleair). Advanced fibre: cellulose nanofiber (CNF) and CNF composite resins (ELLEX).
