ARAUCO

ARAUCO is a global forestry and renewable materials company headquartered in Santiago, Chile, and one of the world's leading producers of market pulp and wood-based products. The company manages 1.8 million hectares of forest assets in South America and operates an integrated business platform spanning forestry, pulp, panels, solid wood products and renewable energy. ARAUCO produces bleached hardwood and softwood kraft pulp, unbleached kraft pulp, fluff pulp and dissolving pulp, alongside MDF, particleboard, OSB, plywood, sawn timber and engineered wood solutions. Its industrial and commercial operations extend across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Oceania and the Middle East. In 2025, ARAUCO produced 4.6 million tonnes of pulp and 7.6 million cubic metres of wood products and panels. The company is currently developing the Sucuriú Project in Brazil, a US$4.6 billion pulp mill with a planned production capacity of 3.5 million tonnes per year and start-up scheduled for the end of 2027.
